She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen McCarthy and Frank McCarthy (Simon Allen Jr.); her son Andrew Allen; and her brother Richard McCarthy. She is survived by: her children, Andy, Peter Allen (Peggy), Tom Allen (Deborah), Jeff Allen and Patty Valdes (Ed); her daughter-in-law Joanne Allen; her grandchildren, Adam Allen (Marisa), Drew Allen, Amanda Baierl (Jesse), Bo Valdes, Maggie Wolfgram (Jay) and Annabel Handler (Ross); her great grandchildren, Drew Baierl, Isaac Allen, Gareth Allen, Andrew Allen, Eloise Wolfgram, Simon Wolfgram and Hazel Handler; her friends, Scott, Melissa and Molly Lowell; and also Simon Allen.
