He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Villanueva and Petranan Villanueva (Bonnilla). He is survived by: his wife Tavita; his children, Juan Antonio, Jose David, Rosa Deysi, Mario Alexander and Angie Alejandra; and his siblings, Ricardo, Rigoberto, Carmen, Herlinda, Delmy, Estela and Janeth.
