James Lambrilaz, 93 of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, formerly of Chicago. Beloved husband of the late Lois; loving father of Linda (Joe) Greco and Carolyn (Ralph Jr.) Greco; grandfather of Bryan (Peru) Soske, Daniel, Alyson (fiance David), Christine, Angela, and Michael; great- grandpa of 4 and great great grandpa of 1. James was an avid hunter, gardener, and outdoorsman. He liked to cross country ski and would go on 30 mile bike trips on weekends. He loved and cared for his family in many different ways from spending time cooking and grilling with them and talking about our relatives in Italy. He was a great family historian. He taught them to appreciate music. He was an avid reader. A former member of the Po Piedmont Club on Oakley Ave, he spent Friday nights with his lifelong friends. James was also a devoted parishoner of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, WI.
Visitation Wednesday, August 11th, from 8:45 AM until the time of prayers at 9:15AM at Steuerle Chapel (350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park.) Funeral Mass 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 114 S Elizabeth St, Lombard, IL 60148.
Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
