He was predeceased by: his former wife Renee. He is survived by: his close friend Bonnie Gardner; his son Robert Davis; his grandson Daniel Davis; his great grandchild Henry Ezra Davis; and his siblings, John David Davis (Arizona), Anne Davis Kaslander (Florida) and Margi Davis Hankins (Michigan).

Contributions in Jim's memory can be made to the Geneva Lake Museum or to the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Wisconsin.

“We are very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Both Cheryl and I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Jim. He was a great guy. When I was working with Jim we were the only JEDs at IH. Jim’s initials are J.E.D., and, I’ve always been known as Jed…our common denominator. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of mourning. Jim will be remembered well by all that knew him.
