He was predeceased by: his parents, George Reed and Laura Reed (Deisinger); and his wife Betty L. Reed. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammie Leedle (Steven) of Smyrna, Tenn, Lori Reed, Spring Grove and Ill; his grandchildren, Andrea Hulan (Mathew) and Adam Leedle (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Aston, Noah and Grayson; and his siblings, Darlene Sterken (Wayne), Mildred Boness, Dave Reed (Ginger) and Vernon Reed (Bev). He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

“Linn Township lost two legends this week, Glenn Reed and Frank Hayden. There weren’t many repairs made on the south shore without one of them being involved. My father-in-law Bernie Polek depended on them through the 70s and 80s for all sorts of jobs from snow plowing and pier maintenance to construction projects. They were considered good friends and Bernie was very appreciative of their work quality. Our family would like to express sympathy for your loss. Sincerely,Tom Kwiatkowski”
