He was predeceased by: his spouse Fern Lily Calkins; his son Gerald Calkins; and also Janis Calkins. He is survived by: his children, Beth Sobon (Robert), Diane Verner (Dan) and Michael Dever; his grandchildren, Scott Calkins (Julie), Franklin Calkins (Mary), Lily Yoder (Karl), Brandon Sobon, Bily Sobon, Lindsay Lamkin (Randal), Haily Sobon, Megan Dever, Melissa Dever and Jessica Macaulay (Alan); and his siblings, Clara Jacko, Helen Moses, Levi Calkins and Herman Calkins. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
