She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Simpson and Etta Simpson-Gillespie (Claybrook); her spouse Beefield Kennedy; and her siblings, Harvey, James, William and Marie.

She is survived by: her children, Ralph Kennedy and Wilbert Kennedy; her grandchild Hali Kennedy; her siblings, Jennine, Grace, Pam, Mary, Robert, George, Bruce, Richard and Thomas; and her daughters-in-law, Jessica, Nancy and Dori.
