He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill D Ketchpaw and Helen J Ketchpaw (Millar); his wife Marilyn Evelyn Paulson; his brothers, Robert, Warren and Gerald; and his daughter-in-law Mary Ann Clausen Ketchpaw (Michael).
He is survived by: his children, Donna Axmann (Richard) of Clearfield, Utah, John Ketchpaw of Anchorage, Michael Ketchpaw of Lake Geneva, Melissa Reuss (Michael) of Lake Geneva and Marshal Ketchpaw (Susan) of East Troy, Wisconsin.; and his grandchildren, Donielle Baxter, Chad Marten (Jennifer), Matt Marten (Melissa) of Utah, Lindsey Hansen (Luke) of Lake Geneva, Kimberly Bass (Taylor) of Elkhorn, Abigail Ketchpaw of Lake Geneva, Ryan Reuss of Minnesota and Brittany Hyland (Mac) of Florida. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
