He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Jahns and Esther Jahns; his sister Gloria Rusk (Frank); and his niece Andrea Rusk. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Wicklund (Ginny) of Oak Park, IL.; his children, Linda Eitmontas (Frank), Donna Egly (DeWayne), Barbara Martin (Dan), Marcia Hendrychs (Jeff) and Brian Jahns (Angie); his grandchildren, Taryn Volbrecht (Adam), Nicholas Hendrychs (Katie), Alissa Martin Miller, Jorel Eitmontas, Bria Bernhardt (Zachary), Erin Christner (Jordan), Lauren Hemauer (Steven), Andrew Martin (Hannah), Tyler Cuculi (Annie) and Ella Jahns; and his brother Richard Jahns (Sharon). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
