He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kroening and Clara Kroening; and his siblings, Erma Rosandich, Walter, Ervin, Leonhard and Raymond.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Husom; his children, Michael (Nancy) of Janesville, Rick (Lynn) of Ladysmith and Debra Ludvik (Todd) of Somerset; and his siblings, Irene Stine (Clarence) of Ladysmith and Paul of Ladysmith. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
