She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her stepmother Rose Konkol; her brother Robert Konkol; her sisters-in-law, Violet Konkol and Elaine Konkol; and her stepsiblings, Leo Hoppe and Marilyn (Elroy Szutkowski).
She is survived by: her children, James, Jr. Swanke (Barbara) of Edina, MN, Patricia K. Swanke of Edina, MN, Clare A. Parks (David) of Frankfort, IN, Elizabeth M. Lammers (Matthew) of Eden Prairie, MN, Christopher J. Swanke of Cedar Rapids, IA and Catherine M. Sears (Joseph) of Annapolis, MD; her brothers, Dennis Konkol of Verona and David Konkol of Redgranite; and her stepsister Alvina Buss (Robert) of Eland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the James and Patricia Swanke Scholarship Fund through Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School.
