He is survived by: his wife Anna; his daughters, Michelle of Ladysmith and Melissa Abel of Ladysmith; and his siblings, Jerry Abel (Cindy) of Neenah, Charles Schanes (Kathy) of Rockford, Butch Schanes of Wisconsin Rapids, Heidi, Judy Murray of Anacortes, Jason Abel of Exeland and Eric Abel of Ladysmith. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
