He was predeceased by: his mother Darlene "Dar" Trybula. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his daughters, Lizzy and Abby Opelt (Jennifer Belk); his brother Andy Opelt; his sister-in-law Jessi Riley; his stepsons, Aaron, Brandon Whitaker and Caleb Farmer; his father Randy Opelt; his sister Julie Opelt; and his nieces and nephews, Taylor Hartung, Katie Villiard, Tyler Hartung, Ayden and Ethan Opelt. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting you support the local ALS Association of Northern Wisconsin or the Steve Gleeson Foundation for all that they have contributed to Eric and his family as he battled this devastating disease.
