She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert; her granddaughter Tanya Sackmann; and her half-brother Joe Milner. She is survived by: her children, Robert Nelson (Sandra) of Apple Valley, MN, Christine Holtebeck (Charles) and Susan Sackmann (Gary); and her grandchildren, Melissa Nelson, Kellie Bixby, Brian, Aaron, Matthew Holtebeck, Daryl, Michael and John Sackmann. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Hope Lutheran Church or Ladysmith Care Community.
