He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Thummel and Emma Thummel (Wiefenbach); his children, Barbara Storey (Richard) of Racine, Scott Thummel of Bruce and Robert Thummel (Virginia) of Barron; his grandson Jason Thummel (Lisa) of Trego; his great grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Thummel of Trego; his granddaughters, Amanda Tabbaa (Laith) of Appleton and Brittany Thummel of Holmen; his brother Harold Thummel (Elsie) of Ladysmith; his sister-in-law Yvonne Thummel of Chippewa Falls; and his friends, Carol Pestel, Louise and Ila. He was also cherished by his nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
