She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; and her parents, Cecil Axon and Ellen Axon (Amidon). She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Rugroden (Tim) of Ladysmith; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Griffith (Mike) of Eau Claire and Ashley Schuster of Tacoma, WA; and her great grandchildren, Charlie and Ellie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cheryl's name may be made to the Rusk County Animal Shelter or the Women With Courage Foundation.
