She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Staabs and Elda Staabs; her stepfather Sylvester Neuber; and her stepbrother Richard Neuber. She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth J. Bencz; her pet Bo; her husband Ken; her children, Nicole Schumacher (Joel), Casey Littmann (Tram) and Kevin Bencz (Karie); her grandchildren, Tanner, Whitley Schumacher, Geneva, Presley Bencz and Zoey Littmann; her brother Rick Staabs (Dianne); her stepsiblings, Ann Wondergem (Adrian), Mary Goric (Tom) and Tom Neuber (Marie); and her sister-in-law Donna Neuber.
