She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Walter and Vera Walter (Sonnenberg); her husbands, Hugh Hepp and Ervin Burkhalter (Bud); her siblings, Leroy Walter, Lyle Walter and Bernadine Vodak; and her stepchildren, Gale Burkhalter, Cheryl Kay Heimann and Jill E Burkhalter.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Hess (Don), Donna Field (Ben), Dale Hepp (Elaine), La Valle, Denise Stecher (Fred), Doreen Hepp (Brian Butcher) and Dawn Kelbel (Joe); her grandchildren, Nicole Hess Jackson (John), Chad Herrewig (Melanie Thullen), Cassi Emden (Jesse), Eric Field (Jazz Filip), Nicholas Hepp (Sarah), Adam Hepp, Jacob Hepp (Haley Bordner), Brittney Nestingen (Peter), Fritz Stecher (Kelly), Brooke Birkrem (Jesse), Daniel Zimmerman (Regan), Heath Zimmerman, Tasha Monica (Nick), Brogan Boldon, Eason Kelbel, John Kelbel, Andy Burkhalter and Kenny Burkhalter; her siblings, Bonnie Hooker and Byron Walter; her sister-in-law Judy Walter; her caregiver Courtney; and her friend Marilyn Olson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
