He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Russell and Howard Russell; and his brother Howard Russell Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Robin Trinko Russell; his children, Susan Lau (Bill) and Mark Russell (Stacey); and his grandchildren, Cameron, Emma and Hayden Russell.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. John's Food Shelf in honor of Gary's generous spirit and commitment to his community.
