He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gilman and Mae Gilman (DeLap); his wife Irma Steinmetz; his sons, David and Dean; and his siblings, Earl Gilman Jr., Virgil Gilman, Shirley Marshall, DeAnna Johnson, Rita and Rae Gilman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Korus of La Farge and Gail Semb (Michael) of La Crosse; his grandchildren, Jeffery Korus (Elizabeth), Jasmine Korus, Collin Semb and Connor Semb; his great grandchildren, William, Lyla and Jack Korus; and his siblings, Iva Lea McCollough, Valdo "Pete" Gilman (Shirley) and Sharon Drew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to La Farge Veterans Memorial, La Farge Fire Department, or a charity of your choice.
