She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hegel and Geraldine Hegel (Lackore); her spouse La Verne "Bernie" Baumgartner; and her sister Pam Sobkowiak. She is survived by: her children, Jana Kohlman of Onalaska, Karla Arenz (Bruce) of Burr Oak, Lane Baumgartner of La Crosse and Kurt Baumgartner (Amy) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Adeline Bahl (Logan), Joshua, Erin Baumgartner, Alissa, Justin Arenz, Dylan Grimsled (Millie) and Hunter Baumgartner; and her brothers, Allen Hegel and Clark "Butch" Hegel.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dickinson Funeral Home (1425 Jackson St, La Crosse, WI 54601).
