He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Spacek and Rose Spacek (Schrabeck); his wife Ruth Garske; and his son Rob. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Hengstl; his sister Carol Hoeft; and his stepchildren, Jeri (Jeff), Jim Phelps (Cindy) of La Crosse and Jay Phelps (Cheryl) of Page. He is also survived by 14 step grandchildren and 1 great-step grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home (1501 West Ave S, La Crosse, WI 54601). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the La Crosse Eagles Club (630 West Ave S, La Crosse, WI 54601).
