With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. Hembd (La Crosse, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 24, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Hampel, Bryon J., William J. (Amy) and Robert J. (Hope); his brother Russ; his father Uncle Bob; and also Big Bob. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.

Bob was very passionate about Logan High School and Olivet Beacon of Light Lutheran Church and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to Olivet or the Logan Alumni Association for the Hembd Family Scholarship Fund.
