She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kabat and Louise Kabat (Harder); her husband Donald Alfred; her son Donald Dean; her grandson Douglas Hutzenbuehler; and her sisters, Babe Senn and Marlene Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya McCabe (Michael), Douglas Hutzenbuehler, Susan Lee (Steve), Pattie Meixelsperger (Steven), Michael Hutzenbuehler (Ann) and Jodi Mickelson (Scott); her grandchildren, Chelsea, Riley Hutzenbuehler, Abigail Stuckey (Tyler), Hans Meixelsperger (Jamie), Dylan and Max Lee; her stepgrandchildren, Bailey and Ashley; her great grandchildren, Georgia, Oswin, Wolfgang and Layla; and her siblings, Patty Senn and William Kabat. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1333 13th St S, La Crosse, WI 54601). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Gundersen Hospice program.
