He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murray and Mary Murray (Leinfelder); his son Peter; and his siblings, Mary Kleinschmidt (Michael), John and Steve Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila George; his children, Philip (Amy), Jennifer Johnson (Benjamin) and Patrick (Erin); his grandchildren, Emily Hembrook (Bryce), Jonathan Murray, Allison Murray, Jacob Murray, Josephine Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Keelin Murray, Peter Murray, Kiara Murray and Saoirse Murray; his great grandchild Kora Hembrook; his sister Anne Breidel (Bill Wegmiller); and his siblings-in-law, Michael George (Barbara) and Bonnie Murray. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blessed Sacrament Parish or La Crosse Aquinas High School.
