He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murray and Mary Murray (Leinfelder); his son Peter; and his siblings, Mary Kleinschmidt (Michael), John and Steve Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila George; his children, Philip (Amy), Jennifer Johnson (Benjamin) and Patrick (Erin); his grandchildren, Emily Hembrook (Bryce), Jonathan Murray, Allison Murray, Jacob Murray, Josephine Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Keelin Murray, Peter Murray, Kiara Murray and Saoirse Murray; his great grandchild Kora Hembrook; his sister Anne Breidel (Bill Wegmiller); and his siblings-in-law, Michael George (Barbara) and Bonnie Murray. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Parish (130 Losey Blvd S, La Crosse, WI 54601). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blessed Sacrament Parish or La Crosse Aquinas High School.
