She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Olson and Florence Olson (Sullivan); her husband Lloyd Smaby; and her siblings, Louise Sacia, Spencer and David Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Smaby of Holmen, Amy Smaby of West Salem, Kevin Smaby (Leslie) of La Crosse and Mark Smaby of Holmen; her grandchildren, Joshua, Lucas, Kelsey, Heather, Jenna, Melissa, Jacob, Allison and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Devyn, Ryder and Owen; and her sister Mary Stetzer (Chauncey).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Dorcas Society at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, La Crosse, Onalaska Care Center, or Gundersen Hospice Program.
