The passing of Linda J. Nelson of La Crosse, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 74. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Erickson and Helen Erickson (Betz); her husband Dick Nelson; her sister Ann Grandall; her nephew Kevin Grandall; and her niece Vicky Grandall.
She is survived by: her children, Cheri Starch of La Crosse, Heather Pieper (Steve) of Sparta, Wis. and Ryan of La Crosse; her grandchildren, Emily Starch, Aiden and Addison Pieper; her nephews, Rick Grandall (Mona) of Holmen and Steve; her niece Kathy Grandall of Sparta, Wis.; and her pets, Yogi, Lucy and Lily. She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Fredrickson Funeral Home (4239 Mormon Coulee Rd, La Crosse, WI 54601).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Gundersen Oncology, Gundersen Hospice, or the Coulee Region Humane Society.
