She was predeceased by: her parents, Winifred Ruhnke (Vanderwilt) and Milton Ruhnke; and her brother-in-law Harold Swanson. She is survived by: her sister Wanda Swanson; her nieces, Kristin Swanson (Alan Hecht) and Celia Swanson; her nephew Mark Swanson (Nancy Schoenberg); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan Hecht, David Hecht (Abby Sterling), Karin Hecht, Rachel Hardebeck (Emerson), Ben Swanson, Orren Hecht and Madrona Hardebeck; her cousin Judith; her daughter Heather Hovis; and her daughters-in-law, Janet Hosler and Helen Minnick.
