He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Alexander and Dorothy Alexander; his siblings, Howard, Gary and Patricia Oliver; and his nephew Joel Bay.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Jeffrey of Holmen, Kimberly Hart (Willard) of La Crosse and Rebecca Farwell (Joseph) of La Crosse; and his grandchildren, Michael Garcia Rondon, Brandi, Jennifer Alexander, Brittney Wiese, Alexander Farwell, Nico, Antonio Bay, Mathew, Jeffery Miller, Angela Croft (Eric), Jennifer Kelly (Joseph), Sarah Brown (Christopher), Shanna and Michael Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Aquinas Catholic Schools, or Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
