He is survived by: his sister Barbara Spencer; his cousins, Jack Vernon and Darlene Stredyl; his nieces and nephews, Don Hurto, Robert Spencer, Steve Budzik, Elizabeth Knigge, Colleen Spencer, Donna Hurto and Julie Budzik; his aunts, Bernice Majka and Jean Kaczanowski; and also Jan Budzik.
His dedication to preserving wildlife habitats also led him to support the National Wildlife Foundation.
