He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otto Jacobson and Betty Jacobson; and his grandmother Emelia Jacobson. He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his sons, Bjorn and Kevin; his sisters, Peggy Simmonds of San Diego, CA and Diane Reinhart (Rob); his nieces and nephews, Heather Moyer (Stephen), Courtney McKeon (Brian), Andrew Reinhart (Lauren) and Austin Reinhart; and also Jay Adams (Kelly). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Tomah VA, Gundersen Health System or the American Cancer Society.
