He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Fema and Dorothy Fema (Morrison); his siblings, Ernie Fema, Bill Fema, Patricia Misch and Ivalyn Trucks; and his nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Ernie, Stevie, Bill, Billy, Joey, Jeff, Sheila, Renee and Dianne.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Jim Fema (Dawn), Tony Fema, Dorothy Schaefer (Scott), John Fema and Ivy Fema; and his grandchildren, Jade Proksch (Ethan), Lacey Fema, Dylan Fema, Savannah Fema (Trevor Munkelwitz), Matt Nelson, Jenny Fema, Brooke Tourville (Nate), Jacob Schaefer, Jared Schaefer (Mariah) and Zachary Swedberg (Rebecca). He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services (200 West Ave S, La Crosse, WI 54601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
