He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Harold C. Lubeck and Concordia Lubeck (Karstensen). He is survived by: his wife Swanhild Wrobel of Peter's Lutheran Church; his children, Mark (Joan), Alica (Jon), Paul (Lucia) and Joan (Paul); his grandchildren, Anna (Jacob), Samuel, Ashley, Melanie (Steven), Gretchen and Danielle; and his great grandchildren, Hazel, Lyla, Malakai and Stella.
Memorials may be given to Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church, La Crosse or Luther High School.
