Hanifl (Beverly Kay), Mary Ann Ekern and Kathy Erlandson; and his nieces and nephews, Katie Warner (Brady), Maria Ekern, David A. Ekern, Eric Ekern (Jill), Nicholas Ekern, Donald Ekern (Mallory), Patrick Ekern (Gao), Dylan Ekern, Ryan Hanifl (Sammy), Brent Hanifl (Melissa) and Drs. He is also survived by 18 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Kolkata Catholic Church (210 W Hamlin St, West Salem, WI 54669). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Catholic Cemetery (519 Losey Blvd S, La Crosse, WI 54601).
