Gale G. Grimslid Obituary
The memory of Gale G. Grimslid (La Crosse, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Grimslid and Margaret Grimslid; his son Kent Grimslid (Sally Grimslid); his siblings, Sharon Opitz, Shirley Molzahn and Gary'Gibby'Grimslid; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Lietzow, Joyce Beilke and Ray Opitz; and his nephew Jeff Molzahn.
He is survived by: his wife Northsider' (Sally Anderson); his daughter Holly Grimslid (Rebecca Seibel); his grandson Eli Grimslid (Peggy Mageland); his siblings-in-law, Ed Lietzow, Roger Molzahn and Bonnie Grimslid; and his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Skemp, Brooksy Beilke, Tami Grimslid, Todd Molzahn, Andy Opitz, Barry Beilke, Greg and Mark Grimslid.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the North Presbyterian Church (1327 N Salem Rd, La Crosse, WI 54603). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the La Crosse Community Foundation-Sally Grimslid 'Give Kids a Smile' Scholarship Fund, the UW-L Vanguard Kent Grimslid Scholarship Fund or North Presbyterian Church. Keep Gale's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
