He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Mathison and Alice Mathison (Stenslien); his son Mike; his siblings, Harlan (Pauline), Robert (Mary Lou), Richard (Sandy), Beverly Quintino (Leo) and Marlene Leuck; his brothers-in-law, Darrell, Dale and Dallas Jeidy; and his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Mathison, Kevin Mathison, Tony Quintino, Mike Leuck, Leslie Mathison and Brenda Couillard.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Jeidy; his children, Bryan of Viroqua and Rhonda Mathison-Sternke (Chad) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Jiamin Li, Sophie, Ashton Mathison, Isabelle, Penelope and Hadyn Sternke; and his siblings-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Leuck of Fennimore, John Jeidy (Kathy) of North Carolina, Janet Bocher (Bob) of Waukesha and Betty Jeidy of Mt. Ida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
