We bid farewell to Francis L. Mathison of La Crosse, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 19, 2024 at the age of 79. Francis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Mathison and Alice Mathison (Stenslien); his son Mike; his siblings, Harlan (Pauline), Robert (Mary Lou), Richard (Sandy), Beverly Quintino (Leo) and Marlene Leuck; his brothers-in-law, Darrell, Dale and Dallas Jeidy; and his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Mathison, Kevin Mathison, Tony Quintino, Mike Leuck, Leslie Mathison and Brenda Couillard.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Jeidy; his children, Bryan of Viroqua and Rhonda Mathison-Sternke (Chad) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Jiamin Li, Sophie, Ashton Mathison, Isabelle, Penelope and Hadyn Sternke; and his siblings-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Leuck of Fennimore and Janet Leuck (Bob) of Waukesha. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church (1005 Central Ave, Coon Valley, WI 54623). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery (1005 Central Ave, Coon Valley, WI 54623).
