He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Fritsch (Clevette) and Clarence Fritsch; his wife Harriet; his granddaughter Jill Bakalars; his son-in-law Dan Bakalars; and his brother Ronald Fritsch.
He is survived by: his children, Jed Fritsch, Mary Bakalars, Jennine Fritsch and Alane Bartlett (Michael Henthorne); his grandchildren, Daniel Bakalars (Jenny Crail), Laura Goetzke (Justin), Ahna Bartlett (Mitch Chatterton) and Gina Fritsch (Rick Schneider); his great grandchildren, Ari, Adalayna, Holden Bakalars, Juliana, Emma and Sawyer Goetzke; his children-in-law, Jeff Bartlett and Ann Morrisette; and his siblings-in-law, John C. Fletcher and Rae E. Lyons.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mother of the Church (2006 Weston St, La Crosse, WI 54601). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
