She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Hammes and Marie Hammes (Mikshowsky); her husband Willy; her son Bud; her granddaughter Anna; her brother Duane Hammes; her sisters-in-law, Barb and Carol Hammes; and her son-in-law Carl Foust.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Broadwater, Dan (Rochelle Rusch), Trish Foust, John (Melissa), Jim (Mary), Sue Keough (David), Dave (Kim) and Bob (Heather Chial); her grandchildren, Dom Broadwater, Darren Bakkestuen, Megan Williams (Ben), Nathan (Loralei Zimbauer), Emily, Alison Foust, Joe, Mike (Natalie Granger), Lauren, Jenna Bakkestuen, Andy Bakkestuen (Amanda), Wendy Scott (Jake), Claire, Paige, Jordan, Lilah Bakkestuen, William and Katelyn Bakkestuen; her great grandchildren, Declan, Arabella, Addison, Avery, Alexis and Chase; and her siblings, Bernard Hammes, Rose Porter (Mike) and Anne Martin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1333 13th St S, La Crosse, WI 54601).
In lieu of flowers, memorials of one's choice are preferred.
