It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Freybler (La Crosse, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Wermuth and Alice Wermuth (Lord); her husband Robert Flottmeyer; and her sisters, Nadine Hole and Marlene Berg.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Willer (Terry), Kevin Freybler (Nancy), Susie Freybler, Jean Sims (John), Mary Gilbertson, John Freybler (Judy), Joe Freybler (Stacy), Ellen (Eric Brownell) and Becky Pantzer; her siblings, Carol Jacobson and Robert Freybler (Bev); and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Blackburn, Monica Forer and Peggy Flottmeyer. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services (200 West Ave S, La Crosse, WI 54601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. James the Less Catholic Church (1032 Caledonia St, La Crosse, WI 54603). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (3636 Mormon Coulee Rd, La Crosse, WI 54601).
