She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Oscar Springer and Mary Springer; her significant other Roland Francis Kanitz; her daughter Lana Ray; and her sisters-in-law, Lynn Springer and Linda Springer.
She is survived by: her children, Patt Cook (Kevin) and Richard Kanitz (Linette); her grandsons, Garrett Ray, Harrison Cook (Massi Booncherd), Mitchell Cook (Madison Snarr) and Clark Ray (Stephanie O'Dell); her son-in-law Keith Ray; her brothers, Jay Springer (Mary) and John Springer (Helen); and her nieces, Jayne Couch (Tom), Sharon Freeman (Floyd) and Sandy Ryan (Jon). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and may be directed toward Mount Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mount Calvary-Grace Lutheran School or the Wounded Warrior Project.
