He was predeceased by: his son Kurt Bulitz (Amy); and his parents, August Bulitz and Mathilde Bulitz. He is survived by: his wife Regina Bulitz (Grandl); his children, Gary, Paul Bulitz (Debbie) and Heidi Bulitz; and his sister Eugenie Kölbl. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church (441 Millersville Ave, Howards Grove, WI 53083). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations can be made in Siegmund's name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

“We were friends with Siegmund as he and Regina, were best friends with Paul & Walltraut Dohmann, Brigitte's parents. When my career moved us out of Wisconsin, we visited them each time we were in Sheboygan County. We also stayed in touch with them via phone calls, were happy when they were happy and prayed when prayer was needed. We will miss our dear friend, but we believe that our common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will reunite us someday in Christ's Eternal Kingdom.”
