He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Jochimsen and Corrine Jochimsen; his former wife June Humke; his son John; his son-in-law David Colton; and his grandson John.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Lou Colton, Mark Jochimsen (Camille) and Paul Jochimsen (Lori); his wife Marjory Koch Althaus; and his grandchildren, Cole (Amanda), Evan (Ashley), Duncan (Tori), Hope (Tyler), Claire Colton-Ewing (Ian) and Ellen Colton (Aaron).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to either Salvation Army or Meals on Wheels in Earl's name.
