She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Knutson and Flossie Knutson; her husband William Schalla; her grandson Bill Schalla III; and her brother Russell Knutson (Virginia).
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Alexander (Maurice), Rita Schalla-Thilgen (John) and Bill Schalla II (Becky); and her grandchildren, Amy Hayes, Bettijo Alexander, Johnny Alexander, Mindi Long (Jason), Branden Running (Judie), Daniel Alexander (Rochelle), Jason Driscoll (Nikki), Tom Driscoll (Jackie), Bill Schalla IV (Amy) and Audrey Schalla-Pich (Mike). She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
