He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Johnson and Bessie Johnson (Tubbs); his parents-in-law, Louis "Bud" Ruosch and Maureen Ruosch; his siblings, Irene Kanis, Marlys Snyder (Jerry) and Lloyd Johnson; his brother-in-law Dale "Buzzy" Ruosch; his son-in-law Todd Hurtgen; and his nephew Tim Snyder.
He is survived by: his child Woodville; his wife Nola Ruosch; his children, Don Johnson (Mariana), Brenda Cronk (Richard) and Sherry Neisius (Rich); his grandchildren, Jena Kaiser (Jerry), Krista Cronk, Michelle Johnson (Josh Lisiecki), Jessica Flaig (Collin), Tiffany Nelson (Mike) and Casey Neisius; his great grandchildren, Madison Carey, Jakobe Wallace, Kinslea Wallace and Baby Boy Flaig; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Kanis (Glenda), Marlene Thomas (Rich Sadergaski), Naomi Nelson (Larry), Duane Ruosch (Lourdes), Nadine Schneider and Kitty Ruosch (Don Chase). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
