He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hale; his siblings, Dale (Pat) of Edgerton, WI, Suzanne of San Diego and Tom of Cortland, IL.; and his children, Karen Sharkey (Glenn) of Freeport, Paul Schroeder (Marie) of Rockford, Erik Schroeder of Minneapolis and Kurt Schroeder (Sandy) of Rochester, MN. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
