He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Harmer and Rose Catherine Harmer (Lohr); his children, Rosemary Harmer and Stephen Wesley Harmer; his grandson Randy Harmer; and his brother Roland Harmer.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas (Laurie), David (Heidi), Luanne Hacker (Greg), Paula Lindsey (David) and Lisa Kennedy (Gary); and his brother John Harmer. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
