He is survived by: his former wife Bernadette V. Edwards; his son Doug Benisch (Amy) of Colorado; his wife Lynn (Brown-Reis); his pet Bandit; his grandchildren, Charlie of Colorado, Mia of Colorado and Maddie of Colorado; his siblings, Carol, Margaret Benisch of Columbus, WI. and Vernon Benisch; and his daughter Angela Benisch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The facility closed itself to visitors immediately after Paul's arrival due to the pandemic.
