She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Luer and Alta Luer; her husband Richard "Dick" Roman Heleniak; her brother Denny; and her niece Jennifer Geurts.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jeanette "Jeannie" Geurts (Luer) and Terry Luer; her nephews, Ken Luer (Jennifer), Bill Luer, Mark Fouts (Deb), Dennis Fouts (Marti Ashgar), Michael Heleniak (Kathy), William Heleniak and Casey Luer; and her niece Libby Luer.
