She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Karlstrand and Lillian Karlstrand; her brothers, Leonard (Marjorie Karlstrand) and Raymond Karlstrand; and her nephew Robert Karlstrand.
She is survived by: her siblings, Oscar, Lillian Karlstrand (Anderson), Len and Ray; her husband James Wesley Otterson; her children, Carey Allen (Dalton), James R. Otterson, Gale Otterson, Susan Otterson (Greg Smith) and Ruth Bachmeier (Scott); her sister-in-law Edyth Karlstrand; her nephews, Jan Karlstrand and Jeff Karlstrand; her granddaughters, Olivia Kim (Andrew), Annabelle Doran (Erik), Rachel Baker (Daniel), Sarah Lovell (Luke), Keely Smith, Emma Smith and Heidi Bachmeier; and her great grandchildren, Logan Kim, Delaney Kim, Evangeline Baker, Astrid Doran and Lovell. She is also survived by Her father, in addition to her maternal grandparents.
