He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Schwersinke and Helen Schwersinke (Schroeder); his wife Cora Schwersinke of King, WI; his siblings, Joan Testin and Darrell Schwersinke (Wendy); and his son Steven Allen Schwersinke. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
